Purpose

This document describes the SmartMigration feature of storage system , including its working principle, application scenarios. Also, it explains how to configure and manage SmartMigration. SmartMigration is only supported for LUNs (block services).

Symbol Conventions

The symbols that may be found in this document are defined as follows.

Symbol	Description
