When configuring CBQ to interconnect with Cisco routers, the bandwidth of EF is configured to 2M. Once completion, the system prompts only 48K bandwidth is available, and EF command cannot be propagated.
CLI prompts QOS has only 48K bandwidth available, and EF command cannot be propagated successfully.
In the interface view, execute the following command:
qos max-bandwidth 2048
The system regard the interface bandwidth as 2M, at which point EF command could be advertised.
1. By checkup, no limitation of 48K is found;
2. According to checkup on interface, the interface our router locates is DTE, and that Cisco router locates is DCE, with bandwidth as 2M;
3. By checkup for qos policy of the interface, both qos reserved-bandwidth and max-bandwidth are found as 48K;
4. The two values are default by system. When the serial port of our router serves as DTE, it is very hard to know the rate set for the peer. The port rate when initializing the serial port of our router is set to 64K; the reserved-bandwidth of CBQ is defaulted to 75%, so the available bandwidth of CBQ is 48K.
