The options above are supported by system by default, and it does not need to configure. Besides the standard dhcp options above, MA5200G can define four options, and DHCP client and server can use option code to transmit the configuration parameter and control information contracted by both sides; the range of option code is 128-254. Up to four options can be seleted; that is the configuration information in the address pool view.
In the address pool, configure the option values:
INTEGER<128-254> Option code, from 128 to 254, include 128 and 254
THe meaning of the command:
The option configured is attached by MA5200G, and it is not in the range of option supported by MA5200G; it is only for some special terminal or demands, and the the range of 128-254 mentioned can be configured, but four at maximum. The self-defined option code must be in the parameter list requested by the customer, and the system can return the option value. The common DHCP request does not include the code values.
The command is only for some special occasions, and the options help transmit the configuration parameters or control information. DHCP client and DHCP server have contracted the meaning of each option code, so the option configured in address pool is rarely used generally.
