An error occurs during the N8000 installation because the console IP address is configured

Publication Date:  2012-07-18 Views:  284 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
Figure in the attachment illustrates the error information. The incorrect IP address setting causes the login failure using account master after the installation.
Alarm Information
Handling Process
You only need to specify the start physical, virtual, and console port IP addresses during the N8000 installation. The N8000 system allocates IP addresses according to the number of network adapters. For example, if the N8000 has eight nodes and each node has nine network adapters, 72 (8 x 9 = 72) physical IP addresses and 72 (8 x 9 = 72) virtual IP addresses are required for the initial configuration. The console IP address must be different from these automatically assigned IP addresses.
Root Cause
The specified console IP address conflicts with an automatically assigned physical or virtual IP address.
