Unable to Start the ISM Due to Incorrect User Permission Settings in Linux Or UNIX

Issue Description

The ISM is properly installed on a maintenance terminal; however, the error message java.io.IOException: Permission denied appears when starting up the ISM.

Handling Process
  1. Access the OS of the maintenance terminal in CLI mode.
  2. For the current user, run the command chmod to set read, write, and execute permissions of the installation directory and its subdirectories of the ISM.
  3. Restart the ISM.
Root Cause

The installation directory and its subdirectories of the ISM are inaccessible due to incorrect user permission settings, causing the ISM fail to be started.
