VPLS can’t work after configuration when VPLS user is accessed by access port on S9300

Issue Description
Network topology:
User’s Router A----S9300A----S9300B----S6502-----User’s Router B
Two S9300 are configured MPLS and VPLS.
S9300A can learn the peer end’s and local end’s mac of user’s Router B from VSI, and S9300B only can learn the local end’s mac. But user-side devices can’t ping.

Handling Process
1. Check the configuration of VPLS, use the command “undo portswitch” to change the port between two switches to be a L3 interface. Two S9300 can learn two end’s mac. But service-side can’t ping.
2. Use the command “encapsulation ethernet” in the VSI view to change the default vlan encapsulation to ethernet encapsulation. The problem is solved.
Root Cause
When two or more S9300 are configured VPLS, user’s Router B needs to use the access mode to link in. It’s different from other point which is linked in by using trunk mode.
Suggestions
When you configure VPLS in S9300, you need to be noticed that user-side devices are linked in by the access mode. It’s different from usual point which is linked in by using trunk mode.
