Call Forwarding Failure From an Intra-office Extension Phone Under the eSpace U1930 to an Outer-office Phone

Issue Description
The eSpace U1930 V100R001C01SPC400 is connected to the PSTN using the T1 trunk. The extension number 600 has the call forwarding unconditional (CFU) service configured and forwarded all incoming calls to a mobile phone number. When an outer-office number makes a call to the switchboard number and then transfers to the extension number 600, the call fails to be forwarded to the mobile phone number. However, when an intra-office number makes a call to the extension number 600, the call is successfully forwarded to the mobile phone number.
Handling Process
Step 1 Run the config softargu type 378 value 1 command to set the software parameter 378 to 1. This indicates that the call forwarding right is enabled for the VU switch board.

Step 2 To enable the anti-call theft function, run the config modify trunkgroup no 29 restrict Yes outgoingright Inter&Local command to set the call forwarding right for the T1 trunk to Inter and local.

Step 3 Use an outer-office number to call the extension number 600. The call is successfully forwarded to the specified mobile phone number.

----End
Root Cause
The preceding symptom indicates that the CFU service works correctly. The possible cause is that the VU switch board has no rights to forward calls. The value of the software parameter 378 is 0 when the eSpace U1930 is delivered from the factory. The value 0 indicates that the call forwarding right is disabled for the VU switch board. After the call placed by the outer-office user is connected to the VU, the call can be routed to only an intra-office user but not to an outer-office number using the VU.
