FAQ-How Can I Query the Total Number of ARP Entries

Publication Date:  2015-07-01 Views:  279 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
How Can I Query the Total Number of ARP Entries?
Solution
No dedicated command is available for querying ARP entries on the firewall. However, when you run the display arp command, the system displays the total number of ARP entries, as shown in the following command output:

<USG> display arp
IP ADDRESS MAC ADDRESS EXPIRE(M) TYPE INTERFACE VPN-INSTANCE
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.2.2.3         00e0-fcd6-6f66         I    GE0/0/0
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Total:1         Dynamic:0       Static:0    Interface:1

When there are multiple ARP entries on the firewall, run the following command to query total ARP entries:

<USG> display arp | in Total
Total:1         Dynamic:0       Static:0    Interface:1

Similarly, you can query the total number of other entries.
