Issue Description
What are the differences between TOE network adapters and iSCSI HBAs?

Solution
TOE network adapters are network adapters with the TOE function. TOE is short for the new TCP/IP Offload Engine technology of network adapters. TOE network adapters support the TCP/IP protocol stack processing and relieve application servers from heavy workloads. They are usually applied to high speed network interfaces, such as GE and 10GE interfaces.

The iSCSI host bus adapters (HBAs) are specifically for the connection of iSCSI devices, and support both the TOE technology and iSCSI protocol; therefore, the iSCSI HBAs can better release the workloads of application servers.
