Issue Description
NE40 is Connecting to two ISP through EBGP , we have two class network , network 1 and network 2,we want to configure network 1traffic to be sent to ISP1 and network 2 traffic to be sent to ISP2.
Alarm Information
outgoing traffic from Network 1 and Network 2 is forwarded in both ISP.
Handling Process
so you have to use the following config:-
configure two route-policy
route-policy 1 permit node 1
if-match acl 2000 apply next-hop <ip address of next-hop to ISP1>
 or apply output-interface<interface to ISP1>
route-policy 2 permit node 1
if-match acl 2001
apply next-hop<ip address of next-hop to ISP2>
 or apply output-interface<interface to ISP2>
acl number 2000
permit souce <Network1>
acl number 2001
permit souce <Network2>
then on the interfaces that going to Network1 and Network2 configure the following commands to apply the policies:-
ip policy route-policy <policy name>
Root Cause
if you want to route traffic based on source addresses,you need to use policy based routing-BGP doens't support this by itself,remember that BGP only populates the routing table.the actual routing is done based on the contents of the routing table,which typically performs destination-based routing ,unless policy based routing is in effect.
Suggestions
configure the Policy based Routing as the above commands.
