NE80E Backhaul Traffic is not Balancedly Loaded because Uplink Device Configuration is not Right

Publication Date:  2012-07-27 Views:  38 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
Two NE80Es of MAN use double-GE link to the same CXXXX router. EBGP is used. After the cutover, uplink traffic of four links can realize load balance. Backhaul traffic from CXXXX is not balanced and load balance cannot be realized.
Alarm Information
Null
Handling Process
Change maximum-paths as correct value and load balance of backhaul traffic can be realized.
Root Cause
The traffic of four GE links on two NE80E is average. Uplink traffic is sent by NE80E and NE80E is not problematic. Backhaul traffic cannot be loaded balancedly, it is required to check CXXXXX configuration.  maximum-paths of BGP on CXXXX configures false value 6. There are four links to realize load balance, the value should be consistent with actual link.
Suggestions
When our device connects with partner's device, check it carefully and locate the problem.
