Publication Date:  2012-07-27 Views:  53 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
Q:
NE80E version: VRP5.30-31002S.03
Regarding that the physical layer is up when NE80E optical module is under self-adaption and forced state
Alarm Information
Null
Handling Process
A:
1. Set optical interface as self-adaption negotiation auto mode. When optical channel can normally receive and send the fiber, the physical layer is up.
2. Set optical interface as forced 1000M full-duplex mode. When RX interface can normally receive the fiber, the physical layer is up.
Root Cause
Null
Suggestions
If the opposite has no special demands, it is suggested to configure it as self-adaption. Otherwise the module or fiber is problematic, the communication with opposite device is interrupted. But there is no way to check alarm information that the port is down.
