Publication Date:  2012-07-24 Views:  52 Downloads:  4
Issue Description
Sometime the customer's O&M technician does not have the notebook with the necessary requirements to run T2000 LCT. In this case, O&M technician uses navigator to do simple configuration/check like: checking alarms and so on. However, customer did not know how to set up 2M loopback.
Alarm Information
None
Handling Process
After checking M1000's docs, we found out that there two way to perform this task:
1st Using "ptp" command
2nd Using "cfg-get-tupara" command
Detailed procedure of both commands are attached.
Root Cause
When customer tried to use the command ":cfg-set-loop", it was replied an error message:
:cfg-set-loop:4,1,loopin
failed! cmd:0x4d01 error:0x614e
Suggestions
Prefer to use cfg command instead of ptp command. It is safer and easier to understand its output.
