There are Video Picture (TV Pictures) send by using OSN1500 and encoder/decoder equipments (Huawei Equipments), as the following:
Original TV Picture -- DS3_Out port of Encoder (DXT8800) � PL3_IN port of OSN1500 -- out Loop in PL3 -- PL3_OUT port of OSN1500 -- DS3_IN port of Decoder (DXT8300) -- TV Monitor (1741A Waveform/Vector Monitor)
At the receiving point from the OSN1500 and decoder, there were losses appered in the waveform but no any problem on the pictures on the TV Picture Monitor.
Is the loss in the receive waveform is normal? So we proved for the Customer by make Experience by use MATLAB Simulink Program. (Show in Attachment)
This loss is not happened from the OSN1500 and it is normal.
This loss happened from the quantization proccess and it only in the bandwidth not in the Picture in the Monitor.
So we proved for the customer by one experience by use MATLAB Simulink Program: in the picture transmission there are information non important at the higher frequencies so no need to sent it (because humans have varying sensitivity to different frequencies) so need to discard an appropriate amount of information that unnecessary and send only the important information. This step can do by Quantization process after the DCT Transform "Discrete Cosine Transform" separated the higher and the low frequencies. So at the TV Monitor you will not show any different but if you checked the frequencies or the time domain the different will be indicated at the high frequencies...
