Alarm Information
%Mar 12 14:20:57 2008 ISB-PE-NE80E-A RM/4/RMLOG:
Warning - Maximum route limit of whole system reached -- (max = 1500000)

Handling Process
After the careful inspection of router configuration and topology, it was clear that the configurations are not proper and need to be modified to prevent this problme. The load balancing in BGP is performed on 3 routers as shown in attached diagram which is taking alot of routing resources and also not optimal for this king of small network.
After modification of route refletor configurations in ISB-NE80E router, the problem is solved and the routing entries are reduced to 250000 entries and the problem is resolved.

Root Cause
The routing item is exeed the limit in paf/license is which is set to 1500000.
The ways to solve this are :-
1, Try to limit the amount of  current routing item. aggregate the routing item, reduce the unnecessary host/long mask ip prefix by using route polilcy, or minize the bgp route load balance.
2, Upgrade the software version to V3R2, which can support 2000000 bgp routing entries.

Suggestions
While configuring route reflector, keep careful consideration about the backup routes configured for load sharing. If there are too many load sharing and duplicate routes, they will consume more system resources.
