Publication Date:  2012-07-24 Views:  24 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
Q:
What are the Principle and the Usage of HostSN?
Alarm Information
Null
Handling Process
A:
Provide the machine code of the NM server for applying for the license of the NM. That is HostSN, obtained by running HostSN.exe or HostSN.sh under /opt/n2000/server/bin. But how to get the machine code if the N2000 NM software is not installed in the NM server in the project? The HOSTSN principle is to get the local Mac address and use an encryption algorithm. Thus, copy the tool to the machine to use, without depending on the N2000 environment.
