Q:
Many customers want to add some devices from the BMS servre, but they don't know how many devices or xDSL ports the BMS server can support. Huawei Access network products base on the equivalent node to count the management capability of BMS server.

Handling Process
A:
Huawei Access network products include Optical Access device\Broadband Access device(MA5105、MA5103、MA5100、MA5303、MA5300、MA5600、MA5603、MA5605)) and Integrated Access(MD5500、RSP、PV8、UA5000). The count method is as following:
40 broadband ports(xDSL/FR/V.35) = 1 Equivalent node
50 narrowband ports(PSTN/ISDN/HSL) = 1 Equivalent node
40 downstream ETH ports = 1 Equivalent node
20 ONT = 1 Equivalent node
20 P2P = 1 Equivalent node
1 client = 1 Equivalent node
