Two NE5000Es are deployed at the egress of a MAN.
NetStream is enabled on the NE5000Es, but the NMS collector server cannot normally receive the sample packets.
The NE5000Es are configured as follows:
ip netstream sampler fix-packets 1000 inbound
ip netstream sampler fix-packets 1000 outbound
ip netstream export source 188.8.131.52
ip netstream export host 184.108.40.206 9992
ip netstream export host 220.127.116.11 50040
1. View the status of the NetStream service board by using the display device command. The NetStream service board works normally.
2. Check the configurations for NetStream. The NetStream service board is not specified for the LPU. This is the reason why the NE5000Es cannot send out sample packets normally.
The NE5000Es of version V2R3 support multiple NetStream service boards, and therefore you need to specify the NetStream service board to which the sample packets are sent.
Configure the NetStream to work in centralized mode.
Configure the router that is enabled with NetStream as follows:
Step 1 Run the system-view command to enter the system view.
Step 2 Run the slot slot-id command to enter the slot view.
The slot specified in the command must be the slot where the service board enabled with NetStream is located..
Step 3 Configure your device according to the actual situation.
Run the ip netstream sampler to slot slot-id1 command to configure the centralized mode for NetStream and specify the NetStream service board for receiving the sample packets.
ip netstream sampler to slot 16
1. The NetStream service board may be abnormal.
2. Configurations for NetStream may be incorrect.
The NE5000E V2R3 differs from the NE5000E V2R2 in NetStream processing. You should perform complete configurations during the project deployment.
