FAQ-Why the System Prompts Database Password Error After the Correct SA Password Is Input for Patch Installation in the Command Line

Publication Date:  2012-07-25 Views:  22 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
Q:
Why does the system prompt database password error after the correct SA password is input for the SP24 patch installation in the command line?

Alarm Information
Null
Handling Process
A:
Just like the startup of the N2000 BMS server, when the patch is installed, the system checks whether the inputted password is the same as the SA password in the Imap.cfg file before the installation of the patch. If the password specified in the file is not same as the inputted password, the patch cannot be installed, and the database password error is prompted. In this case, we can modify the password in the imap.cfg file or modify the password through DbPwdTool, which ensures a successful installation.
