The Service Switching Fails due to the Configuration of the Service from the SNCP Ring to the 1+1 Linear MSP Chain in the T2000V2R2

Issue Description
The networking of an office is as follows: NEs A-B-C-D form the SNCP ring, NEs A-E form the 1+1 linear MSP. NEs A and E are the OptiX OSN 3500, and NEs B, C, and D are the OptiX Metro 155/622H.

Handling Process
1. The engineers check the service configuration and find that service from the SNCP ring to the standby board of the 1+1 linear MSP chain is not configured.
2. The engineers try to add the service from the SNCP ring to the standby board of the 1+1 linear MSP chain in the T2000, but fail to find the standby board of the 1+1 linear MSP chain. Hence, the service configuration fails.
3. The engineers configure the service again in the T2000V2R3. The service from the SNCP ring to the standby board of the 1+1 linear MSP chain is generated successfully.
4. The engineers confirm with related Huawei personnel and learn that the T2000 earlier than T2000V2R2C01B1HSP04 (not including the version installed with the SP04) cannot select a standby board in service configuration. The engineers then check the patch installation of the T2000V2R2 and find that the patch is not installed. The engineers install the SP04 patch. Then, the addition of the service from the SNCP ring to the standby board of the 1+1 linear MSP chain succeeds.
5. After the service is configured successfully, the engineers perform the switching test again. The service is normal. 
 
Root Cause
1. The configuration of the 1+1 linear MSP chain is incorrect.
2. The service from the SNCP ring to the standby board of the 1+1 linear MSP chain is not configured. As a result, the service is abnormal in the switching testing due to the following reasons:
(1) In the V4.0 platform, the NE software side can generate the replication service automatically. Hence, if the service of the active board is configured in the T2000, the cross-connection on the standby board is implemented automatically at the NE side.
(2) In the V5.0 platform, the NE software side cannot generate the replication service automatically. Hence, the T2000 needs to automatically configure the generated replication service cross-connection. 
 
Suggestions
1. The T2000 earlier than T2000V2R2C01B1HSP04 (not including the versions installed with SP04) cannot select a standby board in service configuration. Hence, in the T2000 V5.0, the service from the SNCP ring to the standby board of the 1+1 linear MSP chain can neither be generated atomically nor configured by selecting a standby board. As a result, the service is incomplete.
Note: This restriction applies only to the per-NE configuration. In path configuration, the service from the SNCP ring to the standby board of the 1+1 linear MSP chain can be generated successfully and the replicated cross-connection can be seen in the per-NE configuration, though the service cannot be configured in the per-NE configuration.
2. The T2000V2R2C01B1HSP04 and later V2R2 versions installed with the patch can select a standby board in service configuration. In the V5.0 platform, the service from the SNCP ring to the standby board of the 1+1 linear MSP chain cannot be generated automatically, but the service can be supplemented by selecting the standby board configuration.
3. For all T2000V2R3 versions, the T2000 cannot select a standby board in service configuration, but the service from the SNCP ring to the standby board of the 1+1 linear MSP chain can be generated in the per-NE configuration.
