FAQ-Does the NE80E Support the Smooth Capacity Expansion from 1 GB to 2 GB When Two MPUs Are Enabled

Publication Date:  2012-07-27 Views:  36 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
Q:
Does the NE80E support the smooth capacity expansion from 1 GB to 2 GB when two MPUs are enabled?

Alarm Information
Null
Handling Process
A:
Expand the memory of the slave MPU first. When the memory of the master MPU is 1 GB and the memory of the slave MPU is 2 GB, the slave MPU can be registered normally. Expand the memory of the main MPU upon the master/slave switchover. The smooth capacity expansion of the NE80E memory is thus achieved.
Note: The smooth capacity expansion means that the memory is expanded without rebooting the integrated system.
