Note:

1. The T1EXCSA cannot be used with the N2 series line boards (except for the N2SLQ16). Currently, the T2SL64 is no longer shipped. Therefore, the T2SL64A can be shipped to replace the T2SL64. It is recommended that the T2SL64A be used with the T1EXCSA.

2. The SSN1SL64 supports multiple board IDs and can replace the original N2SL64 and T2SL64A/T2SL64. If the AU3 or TCM function is disabled on the original N2SL64/ T2SL64A/T2SL64, the SSN1SL64 can directly replace the N2SL64/ T2SL64A/T2SL64. After the replacement, the physical board slot and the logical board slot are displayed as the old board name.

3. If the AU3 or TCM function is disabled on the original N2SL64 or T2SL64A/T2SL64, the SSN1SL64 can be used as the spare part for the N2SL64 or T2SL64A/T2SL64. Otherwise, the N2SL64 or the T2SL64A/T2SL64 should be chosen as the spare part. If originally the AU3 or TCM function is enabled, service interruption occurs because the SSN1SL64 does not support the AU3 and TCM functions. In addition, when the NE software issues AU3 services, no configuration error alarm will be generated, because the SSN1SL64 does not provide such an alarm interface.

4. On the OSN7500, if the T2SL64A/T2SL64 is originally inserted in slot 1, 2, 3, 17, or 18, the T2SL64A/T2SL64 cannot be replaced by the SSN1SL64 but can be replaced by the T2SL64A/T2SL64 only.

5. The SST2SL64 provides a backboard bus of 2.5 Gbit/s and can be used only for the OSN7500. The SSN2SL64 provides a backboard bus of 622 Mbit/s and can be used only for the OSN3500. The SSN1SL64 provides a backboard bus compatible with 2.5 Gbit/s and 622 Mbit/s, and can be used for both the OSN3500 and the OSN7500. The SST2SL64, the SSN2SL64, and the SSN1SL64 support the same optical interface standards. On the OSN3500, the SSN2SL64 and the SSN1SL64 can interchange with each other. On the OSN7500, the SST2SL64 and the SSN1SL64 can interchange with each other.
