'Fail to Protection' status in Linear MSP when an interconnected equipment was involved

Issue Description
In customer's network there is made Linear 1+1 MS between 5-SLQ4-3 and 14-SLQ4-3 on OSN7500. Furter it is connected with third party S company equipment. After configuring Linear 1+1 MS on OSN and S company equipment, the status of Linear MS on OSN7500 was "fail to Protection" for 15-SLQ4-3. It was quite confusing at OSN7500 because all parameters were correctly assigned and power values was also in normal range.

Handling Process
After analysis, the problem was found in configuration of third party equipment. On OSN7500 Linear MS was configured Dual-Ended Switching but on S company equipment it was configured as Unidirectional. The conventions is like that:
S company equipment============OSN7500
Uni-directional -------------------------------Single-Ended Switching
Bi-directional----------------------------------Dual-Ended Switching
After Uni-directional is reconfigured to Bi-directional on Siemens HIT, problem was solved and status was "Idle"
Root Cause
Check the followings,
1) Power values of 4-SLQ4 and 15-SLQ4 should be normal
2) Check the Power values on interconnected equipment
3) Linear 1+1 MS parameters should be correctly assigned on both ends
Suggestions
In cases like above, make sure the configurations on both equipments should match and compatible.
