Publication Date:  2012-07-27 Views:  35 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
Q:
The NE80E provides two DC 48 V inputs. In order not to affect the services, how big an input voltage difference should be ensured?

Alarm Information
Null
Handling Process

A:
There is no requirement on the difference between the two voltage inputs. You only need to ensure that the input voltage is in the range 38.4 V to 72 V.

Root Cause
You can connect two voltage inputs in the range 38.4 V to 72 V to the power supply unit of the NE80E. The services of the NE80E will not be affected as long as one voltage input is available for the router.
Suggestions
You are recommended to keep the voltage difference lower than 0.5 V when two voltage inputs are supplied to the router.
