FAQ-What Conditions Should the NE80E Meet for LSP Load Balancing

Publication Date:  2012-07-27 Views:  36 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
Q:
What conditions should the NE80E meet for LSP load balancing? Can dynamic LSPs and static LSPs implement load balancing?

Alarm Information
Null
Handling Process
A:
1. Dynamic LSPs can share the load when equal cost routes exist in the global routing table.
2. A dynamic LSP and a static LSP cannot share the load because the priority of static LSPs is higher (this is set in software and cannot be changed). When both dynamic and static LSPs exist, on the ingress, the static LSP is preferentially selected. In this case, load cannot be shared.
3. Two static LSPs can share the load.
