The proportion of the number of licenses to the number of user ports is 1:1. The number of NE management licenses (the downstream ETH port), it indicates the number of FE ports on the ONU. For example, the MA5620E has 24 FE ports and thus 24 licenses are used.

The number of NE management licenses (ADSL), it indicates the number of ADSL ports on the ONU. For example, the MA5616 has 32 ADSL ports and thus 32 licenses are used.

The number of NE management licenses (POTS), it indicates the number of POTS ports on the ONU. For example, the MA5620E has 24 POTS ports and thus 24 licenses are used.
