The nominal wavelengths of the DMD2 board on the OptiX OSN 1800 are as follows:
The wavelengths displayed on the iManager T2000, however, are as follows (see the attachment):
(Port 1) WA1/WD1: 11/1471.0 (CWDM)
(Port 2) EA1/ED1: 17/1591.0 (CWDM)
(Port 3) WA2/WD2: 11/1471.0 (CWDM)
(Port 4) EA2/ED2: 17/1591.0 (CWDM)
According to the board description, the wavelength received by optical ports must comply with the following principle:
eA1 = eD1 = wA1 = wD1 < eA2 = eD2 = wA2 = wD2
The wavelengths displayed on the iManager T2000 are incorrect.
The services are activated successfully.
Run the following commands to correct the nominal wavelengths of optical ports 2 and 3:
In the :woptp:bid,1,83,1,13,08,port,type,wave_len command, the bid parameter indicates the slot number, the port parameter indicates the optical port, the type parameter indicates the OADM board type (CWDM: type=6; DWDM: type=3), and the wave_len parameter indicates the wavelength number (hexadecimal).The wavelengths displayed on the iManager T2000 are correct.
The nominal wavelengths displayed on the board panel are correct because the services can be activated successfully. The wavelengths displayed on the iManager T2000 are incorrect. The version of the iManager T2000 is V2R7. The iManager T2000 obtains the wavelength information from the board data. For other DMD2 boards, the wavelengths displayed on the iManager T2000 are the same as the nominal wavelengths. This means that the iManager T2000 works normally.Check the wavelengths displayed on the board panel. The nominal wavelength of optical port 2 and that of optical port 3 are inverted.
Pay attention to the DMD2's wavelengths displayed on the iManager T2000. Note that the DMD2 board can add and drop any wavelength in the DWDM and CWDM systems. The wavelengths accessing through different ports on the board must comply with the following principle:eA1 = eD1 = wA1 = wD1 < eA2 = eD2 = wA2 = wD2
