Failure to Configure the MA5616 Because More Than Eight ACL Rules Are Configured

Publication Date:  2012-07-25 Views:  72 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
When you create ACL rules on the MA5616 with version SmartAX MA5616 V800R306C01B053, message "ACL rules have reached maximum in such group!" is displayed if more than ACL rules are configured.
Alarm Information
ACL rules have reached maximum in such group!
Handling Process
If there are plenty of rules to be created, you can create two ACL groups to place these rules and then bind the groups to a port. This rectifies the fault. For example,
packet-filter inbound ip-group 2000 port 0/1/0
packet-filter inbound ip-group 2001 port 0/1/0
Root Cause
Currently, in the case of the MA5616, an ACL group can contain a maximum of eight ACL rules.
