Issue Description
CX600-X8 version:V6R1C00SPC800;
Q:
How to set the multicast and broadcast value to avoid the influence of broadcast storm.
Alarm Information
Null
Handling Process
A:
As we know,broadcast and multicast suppression can reduce the influence of broadcast storm.
what's value can reach the best result ?
For multicast suppression,the result of R&D Lan's test is the value must less or equal 512Kbit otherwise the CPU will reach 100% and the device will down as well.
it is also be proved  through real network implementation.
the detail as below:
256K --->CPU highest value is 40%
512K --->CPU highest value is 48%
more than 512K-->CPU will reach 100%
BTW,broadcast suppression will not  cause CPU go higher,it can work normally, no matter which value you set.
the configuration as below:
//for VSI need to enble suppression
vsi hsi static
 pwsignal ldp
 suppression inbound enable
suppression outbound enable
//for VLan need to enable suppression
vlan XX
 suppression inbound enable
suppression outbound enable
//apply in interface
interface GigabitEthernet1/1/8.13
 vlan-type dot1q 13
 l2 binding vsi hsi1
 multicast-suppression cir 512 cbs 95744 inbound
 multicast-suppression cir 512 cbs 95744 outbound
