FAQ-Virtual Concatenation Delay time capacity of some EOS boards

Issue Description
When the delay time of the timeslots bound to a VC trunk exceeds the time allowed by the virtual concatenation delay, VCAT_LOA and ALM_GFP_dLFD 
maybe appear, and the services will be affected;

Handling Process

Before configuration services, please caculate this distance difference, the time delay should not excess the board maximum time delay capacity.

The time allowed by the virtual concatenation delay depends on different board types, see attachment;

To caculate time delay, please check the relevant document.

Root Cause
The configured VC trunk timeslots pass through physical links of different distances.During the service data transmission, when the alignment time of the virtual concatenation delay is over limitation, the timeslots cannot form a data frame. Accordingly, it causes the packet loss or 
services interruption.
Suggestions
If network exist ASON, ASON reroute and this problem occur with high probability.
