OCH trail created failure due to useless optical cross connect on SCC

Issue Description
when customer creates OCH trail, it is failed, and U2000 report below error:

Handling Process

from this case error message, we checked the optical cross connection in NE10318,the optical cross connect for the channel is already created in NE 10318:



To confirm the data in U2000 is consistent with the data in NE, make a NE upload(Configuration->NE Configuration Data Management) and OCH trail search(Service->WDM trail->Search for WDM Trail), after that check the optical cross connect again in NE 10318:


the optical cross connection still there, but there are no Trail Name for these optical cross connect, so these optical cross connect not used by any OCH trail, for double-confirmation, make a WDM trails browse on the WSM9 card:



there are no OCH trail for the channel,  so the optical cross connect can be deactived and deleted, after that OCH trail creation can be tried again.


Root Cause
if OCH trail creation failed, normally need check:

  1. Check whether the wavelength in OTU OUT port match with connected M40 port wavelength
  2. Logical fiber connection at transmit and receive side
  3. Check the OCH trail route, check the bypass sites logical fiber connection
  4. Check the Optical cross connection at bypass sites whether there is wave cross connection confliction

Suggestions
Normally, it is suggested to create OCH trail with two ways, End to end/Automatic creation and Single station creation/Manually:
