U2000 version  - V1R2C01

Alarm Information

Handling Process
A:
To migrate the network of SDH & RTN nodes monitored in T2000 to U2000 the following steps should be followed to ensure all data (including trail names) from the network is transferred properly.

1) On the U2000 server set below parameter to 1. (Run file nmlsdh.cfg in T2000\server\nml\nmlsdh\conf\cfg\nmlsdh.cfg
#| Enable_Export_Trail_info = 1

2) Export the Networkwide configuration file script from the T2000 NMS.
3) Import the same script file onto the U2000 NMS.
4) Upload all the Nodes again to the U2000 NMS
5) Import Network layer information file from script folder onto the U2000 NMS once again.
Root Cause

Suggestions
note: to change the parameters

1) On the U2000 server set below parameter to 1. (Run file nmlsdh.cfg in T2000\server\nml\nmlsdh\conf\cfg\nmlsdh.cfg
#| Enable_Export_Trail_info = 1

2) Ensure all the data is consistent between NE and NMS before export the script from the T2000 NMS.

3) If migrating from seperate T2000 NMS(eg: 1 monitoring SDH & 1 monitoring RTN) to one unified U2000 NMS, then follow step 1-5 for both the scripts(RTN & SDH). Similarly for WDM network can be carried out.
