Unable to save preferences in the U2000 client

Issue Description
Customer is unable to save any modifications made through the U2000 client File > Preferences > Inventory Report Auto Export window.
Alarm Information
Failed to save the system setting information.
Handling Process

1.  The U2000 client is logged in as the U2000 admin user, which has all privileges, so the problem is not related to U2000 access rights.
2.  After analyzing the U2000\client\var\log\DebugTrace log file from the local PC, we found that the system user used to run the U2000 client does not have the write privilege to the U2000\client\style\users\admin\u2000\inventory\autoexport\autoexport.properties file, therefore the U2000 client is not able to save the settings.
3.  Running the U2000 client as an administrator user solved the problem.



Root Cause

We expected this problem could be due to either:
1.  Insufficient U2000 user privileges.
2.  U2000 client problem.
3.  Local PC access rights.


Suggestions
Run the U2000 client as a system user that has write permissions to the U2000\client directory.
