Publication Date:  2012-07-20 Views:  86 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
In the deployment of the S2100 with SAS host ports, after a mapping is added to a port of the server, multiple SAS addresses exist in the drop-down list box of the port, and the exact address is hard to be located.
Alarm Information
None
Handling Process
Step 1  Restart the server.
Step 2  Press Ctrl+C during the booting process to go to the SAS controller screen.
Step 3  Move the cursor to the SAS Address line and record the SAS address.
Step 4  Log in to the S2100 OSM, and add the mapping to the port of the recorded SAS address.
Root Cause
Most of the SAS addresses of the port are invalid, and they are automatically cleared after the server restarts.
