Publication Date:  2012-07-22 Views:  48 Downloads:  0
Issue Description

It is ok to logon the ISM of S2600 through CLI Also, We can access the Webpage of the S2600 management IP. But failed to Logon the device form ISM.

Alarm Information
None
Handling Process
(1)Use the SSH tool to logon the CLI of S2600, enter the debug mode (password:654321)
(2)Run the “cd /ISM/ism_cs” to check the directory and files
     a. If there’s no such directory or the command can’t run properly. That means the I/O halt for it can’t read/write the flash chip.
     b. If we can enter the directory (/ISM/ism_cs) but some files were missing (compared with the normal one with same version). That means the files on the flash chip were damaged.
Both of the 2 cases mean that the flash chip is abnormal, We should try to reset the controllers to fix it.(If the flash chip is not physically damaged )
Root Cause

The Files which stored on the Flash chip were lost
