Browser Displays An Error at An NVR Controller Login Because the CGI Script Does Not Have Execute Permission

Issue Description

After the URL of the NVR Controller is entered from a browser, an error is displayed at the lower left corner of the page.

Double-click the icon of the error .The error message dialog box is displayed.

Handling Process

Run the chmod +x process.cgi command to add execute permission to the CGI script.

Run the ll process.cgi command. If the execute permission has been added, the following output is displayed:

Root Cause

1.Connect an SSH tool to the NVR.

The default user name is root and default password is 123456.

2.Run the cd /hinvs/psm/www/cgi-bin/ command to go to the directory in which the CGI script is saved.

3.Run the ll process.cgi command to check the execute permission of the CGI script.

If the CGI file has execute permission, the permission is x in the output.
