What is the Maximum Number of Service Sets Supported by USG5300 V100R003

Publication Date:  2012-07-23 Views:  41 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
What is the maximum number of service sets supported by USG5300 V100R003?
Alarm Information
None.
Handling Process
The CLI operations of configuring interzone packet filtering on USG5300 V100R002 are quite different from those on USG5300 V100R002.
On USG5300 V100R002, the ACL packet filtering policy is applied; however, on USG5300 V100R003, the user needs to manually configure a policy to regulate interzone packet filtering.
The USG5300 supports a maximum of 512 service sets for port restriction.

Note:
A session through a well-known port matches a pre-defined service set preferentially. If the session successfully matches a pre-defined service set, it ages according to the aging time defined by the service set. Otherwise, it searches for a self-defined service set.
A session through an unknown port matches the self-defined service sets in the defined order. If the session successfully matches a self-defined service set, it ages according to the aging time defined by the service set. Otherwise, it searches for a pre-defined service set.
Root Cause
None.
Suggestions
Note the version of a USG5300 device during the deployment.
