Publication Date:  2012-09-22 Views:  105 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
Certain bureau’s Conference TV system use ISDN as network organization. Terminal can’t dial. Analog phone can connect to NT1.
Alarm Information
None
Handling Process
1. Because analog phone can connect to NT1 and call, it means the NT1 don’t have problem. ISDN line is ok too
2. when terminal operation platform dial, it can’t call through any B channel, system report long distance hung up.  Make dialing monitoring on switch, but can’t see terminal dial.
3. Because switch offer long distance power supply, and don’t offer NT1 power supply alone. We doubt the power source can’t satisfy NT1. So connect NT1 power source. Switch monitoring platform can see the terminal is dialing.
4. Call Shenzhen MCU with terminal, can call in and join the conference successfully, problem solved
Root Cause
NT1 of this company will close S/T port, and only open analog phone port, when there is only long distance power supply.
