Publication Date:  2012-10-09 Views:  66 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
Q:
When Eudemon equipment two-node cluster hot backup, why the host change SSH user name and password login standby, it will hint user password mistake?
Alarm Information
None.
Handling Process
A:
Eudemon100/200/300/500/1000, configure SSH user commands in AAA view can be backup to the standby firewall, that is to say the user name, password, and service type, the user level all can be backup to the standby firewall.
But the commands of configure SSH user authentication type is not backup (the following command), and to firewall’s SSH applications, it can use this user’s account only with installed the user’s authentication type, otherwise it can’t be used.
[Eudemon]ssh user user-name authentication-type { password | rsa | all }
So the reason why it can't login the standby firewall is the main firewall configured user’s authentication type won't be backup to standby firewall, but to SSH account it can’t use the account login if hasn’t configured the authentication type.
It can be solved only through the console port or login the standby firewall by configuring a Telnet account to configure SSH user authentication type.
