[VTL6000] VTL software: VTL console cannot display physical storage device

Issue Description
Physical storage device is connected to VTL server and assigned to VTL server, scan physical resource in VTL console, it cannot discover assigned storage device.

Handling Process
Cause 1: designated range of SCSI ID do not include assigned storage device when scanning.
1. In VTL console navigation tree, select physical resource, right click on storage device and select rescan.
2. Input range of SCSI ID, click OK to begin scan.
Cause 2: port mode of connection between storage device and VTL server do not match. 
1. Log on VTL server with SSH tool, input command of cd /usr/local/vtl/etc/.
2. Check port mode of VTL server by input vi fshba.conf.

0 stand for Loop (arbitration loop) mode, 1 stand for P2P (point to point) mode. It is recommended that change all port mode into arbitration loop mode.
3. Press I button to enter edit mode.
4. In ISM navigation tree, select controller A or controller B, click icon of FC host port management.
5. In dialog of FC host port management, click change, change work mode of storage FC port.
It recommended configuring port mode into arbitration loop to match with VTL server mode.

Root Cause
Cause 1: designated range of SCSI ID do not include assigned storage device when scanning.
Cause 2: port mode of connection between storage device and VTL server do not match. 

Suggestions
After assigned physical device is discovered, if physical device is inaccessible because of error, please check event log on VTL console or check system log messages through executing cd /var/log command, check error information that maybe corresponding to rescan operation and report of physical device fault.
