RH2285 server cannot recognize hard disk problem solution case

Issue Description
Hardware configuration:
1. Tecal RH2285 server
2. 12 hard disks
3. 1068E Raid card
Problem symptom:
When server startup, press Ctrl C to log on 1068E Raid card configuration interface. When check SAS topology structure, it prompt that hard disk cannot be found, as in red frame of figure 1.

Handling Process
Conclusion:
SAS cable is not inserted well, reinsert SAS cable, and Raid card can recognize hard disk.
Solution:
Server safely power off, open shelf, plug and reinsert SAS cable connected to Raid card.

Root Cause
1. Please confirm that 12 hard disks are inserted well, and active red light brightens.
2. Press power button to safely power server off, open shelf, check Raid card SAS cable contact situation.
3. Plug and reinsert SAS cable, server power on and enter Raid configuration interface again, SAS topology can see 12 hard disks on position information.

Suggestions
If Raid card configuration interface cannot recognize hard disk information, please check according to steps like below:
1. Plug and reinsert SAS cable of Raid card.
2. Replace new SAS cable.
3. Replace new Raid card.
