Port mode inconsistent caused link one-way audio

Issue Description
Networking:  S8512----E500
One end uses the multimode optical module whose BOM coding is 02315204, the other end uses the multimode optical module whose BOM coding is 02315200 interconnect, the distance between two equipments is not more than 10 meters.
Port state E500 end is UP, S8512 side is DOWN, optical path one-way audio.
E500 Version VRP (R) Software, Version 3.30 RELEASE 0359(08)

E500 hardware configuration is 3 blocks of HW-HIC-2GE light mouth board;
S8512 hardware configured 1 block of GP24B light mouth board;

Handling Process
1, change the both ends to 02315204 or 02315200 optical module, the E500 side is still UP, S8512 side is still DOWN,
2, change optical fiber, directly use the new jump fiber connect up S8512 and E500, the problem is still, optical fiber reason is eliminated;
3, insert the two light module in the E500 or S8512, use the jump fiber interconnect the two optical modules, optical modules are UP. optical module reason is eliminated;
4, view the interface state of both ends

On E500 through “display interface” is unable to acquire optical port’s duplex state information and found the S8512 negotiation is not successful, unable to negotiate the duplex and rate;
5, attempting to modify E500’s optical port negotiation mode, failed, E500 default is the forced 1000 meters full duplex, cannot be modified, in S8512 side modify the optical negotiation mode of GE0/1/11 to the forced 1000 meters full duplex, port is UP, problem solving.
Root Cause
1, module problem;
2, optical fiber problem;
3, optical module slot problem;
4, duplex configuration and port negotiation problem;
Suggestions
1, the default E500’s GE optical port is the forced 1000 meters full duplex, can’t be modified, need to pay attention to single fiber failure problem in later period maintenance;
2, pay attention to the duplex mode of both ends need to be kept consistent when GE optical port butting, the both ends should be autonegotiation mode as far as possible if they are all huawei equipments.
