In the simplified configuration environment, how to restore the MN password after it is lost?

Handling Process
A:
1. Restart the MN, login in the MN virtual machine via VNC.
The method: connect to the MN via the VNC, right-click on the VNC interface, select “send ctrl+alt+del”.
2. Press “e” while there appearing the following interface.

3. Press “b” and there will appear the following interface:

4. Enter the password “huawei” and press the “enter” key, and then press the “e”, there will appear the following interface:


5. Press “e” and there will appear the following interface:


6. Enter “init=/bin/bash”, as the following displayed:



7. Press the “Enter” key and there will appear the following interface:


8. Press “b” to start, while there appearing the prompt “(none)#”, enter the following content:
(none)# mount -n / -o remount,rw
(none)# passwd
       enter the new password according to the notice
(none)# mount -n / -o remount,ro

9. Restart the MN and the password takes effective.
