Issue Description
Q:
How to calculate the priority of E1000E two-node cluster hot backup all kinds of interface?
Alarm Information
None.
Handling Process
A:
E1000E exists two VGMP groups by default, respectively are the Master management group and Slave management group. The default priority of Master management group is 65001, The default priority of Slave management group is 65000. And they support two-node cluster hot backup of Eth-Trunk interface.
No matter what VGMP group, if one of the managed business interface state is transformed to down, the priority calculation methods are as follows:
1, for the average interface, transforms each interface state to down, minus 2 to the priority of VGMP group;
2, for Eth-Trunk interface, transform each member interface state to down, minus 2 to the priority of VGMP group;
3, for vlan, transform each member interface state to down, minus 2 to the priority of VGMP group;
4, for the interface monitored by IP-link, if IP-link detection failed, minus 2 to the priority of VGMP group.
Note: for Eth-Trunk interface and vlan, when there are more than one member interfaces, transform each member interface state transition to down, the priority of VGMP group will minus 2, priority reducing value accumulates calculation.
