After the S2600 port has been binding, it can’t support the connection object storage

Publication Date:  2012-11-27 Views:  53 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
In the client’s site, the two set of S2600 have set the single controllers, after creating the port binding, use the binding port to create the connection copied by the LUN, there prompts “the connection can’t be created”

Alarm Information
None
Handling Process
Cancel the port binding function, and then use the idle ISCSI interface to create the connection copied by the LUN.

Root Cause
Using the function of the port binding, all the ISCSI ports in the single controller have been binding as one port automatically. Take the algorithm mode to distribute the ports randomly and then deal with the IO request, so it can’t create the connection copied by the LUN via the fixed port.
