How can I troubleshoot a storage unit that fails to be discovered by the ISM?

Issue Description
Product and version information:
 N8500V100R001
 N8500V200R001
The N8500 fails to detect the storage unit or detects an offline storage unit on the ISM.

Handling Process
Step 1 Log in to the primary node of the clustered NAS engine using the support account.
Step 2 Delete the incorrect configuration.
 If the product and version is N8500V100R001: Run the /opt/HS/scripts/hs_update_dev_sn.sh dev_delete devIP_A devIP_B username password devType command to delete management IP addresses incorrectly configured for the storage node.
 If the product and version is N8500V200R001: Run the /opt/HS/scripts/dev_update/dev_update.sh integrate_discovery del devIP_A
devIP_A indicates the management IP address of controller A, devIP_B indicates the management IP address of controller B, username indicates the login user name, password indicates the login password, and devType indicates the storage unit model.
Step 3 Add the correct configuration.
 If the product and version is N8500V100R001: Run the /opt/HS/scripts/hs_update_dev_sn.sh dev_add devIP_A devIP_B username password devType.
 If the product and version is N8500V200R001: Run the /opt/HS/scripts/dev_update/dev_update.sh integrate_discovery add devIP_A, and the IP address of controller B, username, password.
devIP_A indicates the management IP address of controller A, devIP_B indicates the management IP address of controller B, username indicates the login user name, password indicates the login password, and devType indicates the storage unit model.
Step 4 Log in to the ISM to rediscover the storage unit.

Root Cause
There are three reasons for this question.
  •  The management IP address of storage unit is entered incorrectly.
  •  The management IP address of storage unit is changed.
  •  The user name and password of the storage unit saved in the N8500 configuration file are different from the actual ones.
