Alarm Information
1. login ISM web console
2. monitor the state of all hard parts
3. use ‘Start KVM’ to login the os.. found the os couldn’t startup, and repeat reboot
Handling Process
Step: T3200
1. login ISM web console
2. monitor the state of all hard parts
3. use ‘Start KVM’ to login the os.. found the os couldn’t startup, and repeat reboot
4. poweroff the server use ‘Boot OS’ function
5. replace those two disks to other void slots, power on server and enter LSI raid card management console(during server startup, press ctrl+s enter LSI), to search disks
6. poweroff the server, insert those two disks into the original disk slot, and power on
7. the server can find the disk and recognize the volume. And boot to oracle OVS os…
Root Cause
when we connected to the T3200, it’s actually repeat reboot, and we found the reason caused this situation is the server couldn’t find the boot devices.(look screen shot).. but after we test the hard driver in other slots, and close the PXE Ethernet function, the server can find the hard driver again, and the server also boot to oracle ovs os(look pictures).
