U1910 noise on the line

Issue Description
The possible causes are as follows:

The network is abnormal.
The eSpace U1910 is not grounded.
The terminal is faulty.
The device gain is improper.
The DSP codec formats for the calling and called parties are different.
The peer device is abnormal.
The clock source has not been configured.

Handling Process
Procedure
Connect the ground line again on the eSpace U1910 to check whether the fault is rectified.

If the fault persists, go to the next step.


Change the terminal to check whether the fault is rectified.

If the fault persists, go to the next step.


See Network Analysis to check whether the network is normal.

If no, verify that the network cables are connected properly.
If yes, go to the next step.

See Volume Is Low or High to reduce device gains.
Check whether the DSP codec formats for the calling and called parties are the same.

View the codec format configured on eSpace U1910, that is, the TdmCodec value. The command is as follows: show mrsparas.
If they are different, change the codec format. The command is as follows: config modify asi by aulaw.
If the fault persists, proceed with the next step.

Contact the peer office's engineers to check whether the peer device runs normally.

If yes, contact to the peer office's engineers to troubleshoot the fault.
If no, go to the next step.

See E1/T1 Trunk Exception whether the clock source is configured.
If the fault still persists, collect the fault information and send it to Huawei technical support engineers. For the contact information, see Technical Support.
If you have performed the preceding steps, make a call to check whether the fault is rectified.

If there is no noise in the line, the fault is rectified.
