Network Ports Monitored by the SingleCLOUD O&M System Are not the Ports Actually Used at the Site

Issue Description
The cloud platform at a site used a third-party server. Network ports eth0 and eth1 of the server were configured as the management port, and ports eth2 and eth3 were configured as the service port. However, the SingleCLOUD O&M System monitored network ports eth0, eth1, eth4, and eth5 of the server.

Handling Process
1. Use PuTTY to log in to the server and run a command to check the content of the nicInfomation.properties file in the /opt/omm/oma/services/pm/plug-in-prod/config/thresholdAlarm directory. 

Note: In the command output, description of the parameters is as follows. The values of the parameters indicate the network ports that are monitored by the SingleCLOUD O&M System.

  •  clc: indicates the server where the Elastic Service Controller (ESC) and Operation and Maintenance Management (OMM) nodes are deployed.
  •  omm: indicates the server where the OMM node is deployed.
  •  cloud: indicates the server where the ESC node is deployed.
  •  imgs: indicates the server where the Image Storage (IMGS) node is deployed.
  •  cc: indicates the server where the Computing Resource Manager (CRM) node is deployed.
  •  mnc: indicates the server where the Management Computing Node Agent (MCNA) node is deployed.
  •  nc: indicates the server where the Computing Node Agent (CNA) node is deployed.

2. Change the values of the parameters based on the type of nodes deployed on the server. For example, if the server is a CNA node, change the value of nc based on actual conditions. If the CNA node uses network port eth0, eth1, eth2, and eth3, change the value of nc to eth0,eth1,eth2,eth3 using the vi editor.
nc= eth0,eth1,eth2,eth3

3. After the modification, wait for 3 minutes and log in to the SingleCLOUD O&M System again.
The SingleCLOUD O&M System monitors the actually configured network ports.
Root Cause
In all SingleCLOUD V100R002C01 versions, the SingleCLOUD O&M System monitors network ports eth0, eth1, eth4, and eth5 by default if four network ports are configured. If the network ports other than eth0, eth1, eth4, and eth5 are used at the site, inconsistency occurs.
