Alarm Information
The customer wanted to increase these values 80% , for this customer, this value,  is quite low because he has a lot of free space in these 20% and he doesnt want to receive this allarm at 80%.
I received double convirmation from clinet for modification  even if our recommendation is to not change this default value, he want to do this modofication.

Handling Process
In below we have a procedure for how to change this defaulte value from 80% in  XX %  ( XX = value between 81%  but not more than 96% if customer wants to incraese the default value. Keep in mind as at 96 %  the  system will be “read only” )

     You must to be loged at “master” in CLI  (putty).

     Run this command :

     N8300> storage fs alert show

     You will see your actual value.

     In my situation ( was an example for customer) the value  is 90 %.

N8300> storage fs alert show

File System          Alert Type      Value           Current Usage
==================== ==========      =========       =============
billchen             numspace        90%             2%

We  want to change this unussual value from 90%  to 81 % . (i want to decrease value from 90%  to 81)  for this I will run:

N8300> storage fs alert set numspace 81 billchen

We will received from system this answer:

N8000 fs SUCCESS V-288-1738 Alert of type [ numspace ] set to 81 on the file system billchen

After that please run again:

N8300> storage fs alert show

You will see your new  value, the system will provide you  information about this new value:

N8300> storage fs alert show
File System          Alert Type      Value           Current Usage
==================== ==========      =========       =============
billchen             numspace        81%             2%

Root Cause
none
Suggestions
Our recommendation is to not change this default  value [80%].

At 96 %  the  system will be “read only”.
